Hydroxycut was around since the ephedra days, and since it has become one of the most common and popular products on the market. It uses calcium, chromium, potassium, garcinia cambogia, gymnema sylvestre, soy phospholipids, and rhodiola rosea, and this is just their original formula. They have quite a few new formulas since the shut down of ephedra. They also use green tea, caffeine, white tea, and oolong tea, claiming to have numerous randomized double blind placebo controlled clinical trials to back their product that can be found just about anywhere now.

Hydroxycut sells mostly in cheap stores, and frankly, most of the ingredients are window dressing. They are all found in extremely small proprietary blends. But most of them have little to nothing to do with actual weight loss. Surprise! They have some caffeine based products, but they won’t necessarily promote weight loss, just really wear and tear on the systems. They have never quite recovered from the ephedra fall, following their old habits and using whatever is popular.

Hydroxycut has no power behind it whatsoever. They spread themselves thin trying to find something that might promote a little bit of weight loss, but ultimately failing. Many have complained about various caffeine related side effects with Hydroxycut, but they haven’t talked about any of the supposed results, because there are none. You would be foolish to buy this product.
